Course examinations are subject to § 5 para. 3 of the study regulations of the University of Vienna:Course examinations must take place at least once in the semester in which the course is held, at the end of the course and at the beginning, middle and end of the next semester. The head of the course in question is responsible for setting these dates.This is a minimum requirement, i.e. the course leader can (but does not have to) examine for longer on a voluntary basis. However, there is no final deadline.

Allocation of workstations in the Festsaal

A limited number of workstations are available in the Festsaal for diploma and doctoral students, lecturers, scholarship holders and colleagues who do not have a workstation at any other institution. These are allocated at the beginning of each semester.

If you require a workstation, please contact Prof. Basema Hamarneh, PhD in good time. Diploma and PhD students please send me a copy of the registration of your topic as proof of need.  


Please contact the librarians of the specialised library to obtain a library key and a reference collection.
