BA programme in Classical Archaeology

The aim of the BA programme in Classical Archaeology at the University of Vienna is for students to acquire a sound basic scientific education, as well as a solid foundation of knowledge about the Greco-Roman world from the Bronze Age to Late Antiquity, as well as its continuing significance and contemporary reception up to the present day.

The BA curriculum requires students to collect ETCS points in the following five categories of courses:

I. Foundations (52 ETCS)

II. Practical skills (14 ETCS)

III. Core knowledge (26 ETCS)

IV. Broadening knowledge (12 ETCS)

V. Research-based (16 ETCS)
