Studierendenvertretung
Dear Students!
Who are we?
Our names are Ines, Lena and Julia and we are your student representatives! We assist you with all questions related to our Classical Archaeology degrees and student life at the University of Vienna. Each of us brings their own valuable experiences, so we can provide you with years of student wisdom!
We gladly answer your questions about starting the degree, managing your studies, finishing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, applying for scholarships, taking part in excursions and excavations and more. You can also write to us in confidence about any problems that may arise with teaching staff or other students.
We also support people interested in archaeology in choosing the degree that suits them. Every year, we are present at BeSt and Uniorientiert, where we answer your questions.
Aside from these duties, we also organise the Semester Opening and Semester Closing parties each term, which provides a great opportunity for getting to know other students. During the winter term, we also host a get-together for new students and the annual Christmas party. In summer, we celebrate the Hoffest with the student representatives of Egyptology, Numismatics and Prehistoric and Historical Archaeology.
Where and when can you find us?
The StV-room is located on the second basement level of Franz-Klein-Gasse 1 (room number A 2K.45). You can reach it if you take the staircase leading downwards on the righthand side of the entrance hall down to level 2K and then turn left twice. Knock on the first door on the left — covered in posters — and you found us.
Currently, we do not have a weekly office hour, but you can make an appointment with us via e-mail.
We look forward to meeting you!
Ines, Lena and Julia
